Invisalign Teen treatment gives your teenager a great smile without metal braces to help them feel confident in their smiles and themselves. The Invisalign Teen system is a series of customized, virtually undetectable aligners. The aligners gradually move teeth to help your teen achieve a great smile and proper bite. On average, treatment takes about a year. Because the aligners are removable, your teen can easily brush and floss for proper hygiene.

Invisalign Teen is different than braces in that there are no food restrictions and you don’t have to worry about breaking a bracket. Just take out your aligners before you eat a meal and make sure your teeth are clean before you put the aligners back in! What is the difference between the adult Invisalign appliance and the Invisalign Teen Appliance?
Although many of the benefits are the same, Invisalign Teen is differentiated by several new clinical features, such as compliance indicators and free replacement aligners.
How will I know how often my child is wearing his aligners?
The compliance indicators located on the upper aligner can estimate the approximate amount of time your teen spends wearing his aligners. The indicators are designed to fade from blue to clear as a gauge of approximate wear time, so you can monitor your child’s compliance easily.
What happens if my child loses one or both of her aligners?
Should this occur, simply inform our office right away. The orthodontist may tell your child to start wearing her previous set, or the next set of aligners immediately. The doctor will then order your teen a new set of aligners to replace the lost set. Invisalign Teen treatment includes up to six individual replacement aligners at no charge.
How much does Invisalign Teen Cost?
The cost of Invisalign Teen is often comparable to that of braces and is typically covered by insurance to the same extent that other orthodontic appliances are. In addition, we offer a variety of flexible interest free payment options to fit any family’s budget.
How much time will my child spend at the orthodontist’s office?
Invisalign Teen requires very little manipulation or maintenance by the doctor in order to be effective, so your child will spend little time visiting the office. Better yet, no “emergency” visits for broken brackets or wires exist with Invisalign Teen treatment.
Will it be easy for my child to keep his teeth clean with Invisalign Teen?
Yes! Invisalign Teen allows your child to remove the aligners for eating and brushing, so it is easier to maintain proper oral hygiene with our product than it is with traditional metal braces. Your teen can brush and floss normally, which can help prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
