Office Policies

We offer convenient hours to our patients including evening hours. In order to give many patients the ability to see us after school or work, we try to keep our afternoon and evening appointment short in duration. Longer appointments, such as full bondings, are scheduled in the mornings.

We recommend that you have a dental exam within the six months before orthodontic appliances are placed to ensure that the teeth and gums are healthy. This is very important, since orthodontic appliances can interfere with detecting underlying decay. Dr. Mellas and the members of our team will monitor the health of your teeth and gums during treatment, but we insist that you continue regular check-ups and cleanings with your dentist during orthodontic treatment.
